It is still possible to hire a campervan if you have penalty points on your licence?
You must declare at the time of booking if there are any endorsements on your driving licence. We are unable to offer driver insurance if driver has had their driving licence endorsed or suspended or more than 2 x 3 penalty points imposed. Failure to declare any accidents or driving convictions invalidates insurance.
There may be a small daily charge for all penalty points.
Do I have to stay at campsites?
We do like to encourage you to stay in one of many campsites which usually has amazing loch side, coastal or scenic views. These sites support the local economy are a great base to explore from. However, we appreciate that sometimes it is not always possible to stay at a campsite. Please remember that informal camping is supposed to be discrete and away from residential areas. Please note restrictions in Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park. Please remove all traces of your rubbish before you leave.
If you do choose to stop in a lay-by, please make yourself aware of all road traffic regulations associated with this type of facility.
Will we be shown how everything works?
Prior to your departure we will forward you a video showing the campervan and how everything works. If you have any questions prior to or on arrival we, will be happy to help you.
Can I drive on a normal license?
Yes. Whether you passed your test before January 1997 or after, you can drive vehicles up to 3500Kg. All our vans are under this weight.
Can we collect earlier or later that the allotted collection times?
Our diary is set so that we turn our vans over in the same day, Customers return the van in the morning before 10am and we clean and prepare the van for the afternoon collection which is from 2pm.. This means we run a very tight schedule to make sure your van will be ready for your hire. Sometimes circumstances allow for an earlier collection, Please contact us to discuss this and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
The latest collection we have is 5pm, please contact us should you wish to arrive later than 5pm to discuss if this is possible. Late arrivals / collections may be subject to a surcharge. Do not book connecting travel such as planes or train tickets unless you have contacted us and we have agreed that we are able to accommodate an earlier or later collection.
What identification do I need to provide for a hire?
Four weeks prior to your hire we will contact you to provide us with up to date ID to satisfy our insurers requirements. You will need to provide the following ID :-
Driving Licence card
DVLA code - Get Gode we will require this 7 days prior to your departure.
You also need to provide TWO forms of address ID, we can only take ID from the following list:-
Credit Card Statement
Utility Bill - Gas, Electric, water or Telephone (not mobile)
Council Tax Bill (this needs to be the current years bill and dated within the last 3 months)

Are pets allowed?
One small sized dog is allowed but seat covers must remain in place. An additional charge will be made of £50 .
