Coronavirus Update

Updated 03/04/20

With the uncertainly as to how long the coronavirus will affect us, we wondered how A Scottish Adventure could help bring some light at the end of the tunnel.   We are now offering to take bookings for the summer with NO DEPOSIT required until  the Government allows full travel throughout the country.

Updated 21/03/20

Due to the governments advice on 20/03/20 we have stopped taking any bookings for April.  Some campsites have closed while others are operating a pitch only with no shower or toilet facilities.  We will review the situation as more information is received.  We will continue to take booking for the Summer onwards.

Updated 18/03/20

We appreciate that our customers are concerned regarding the uncertainty of travel during this difficult time.  We will keep this page updated with any relevant information with  regards to our business and how it may affect our customers..

A Scottish Adventure will continue to trade normally wherever possible and within Government guidelines and regulations during the coronavirus period.

As of 18/03/20 there are no internal travel restrictions within the UK.  Hirers should satisfy themselves in relation to the health risks involved in a touring holiday.   If staying at campsites,  please ensure that they are open.

Existing and New Bookings Policy
We are committed to providing fulfilment on all bookings. We are making the following changes to our Terms and Conditions to provide extra financial security to our customers.

1.    The remainder of any due balance of hire will now be due 10 days prior to

        hire. (previously 6 weeks)
2.   If you are unable to travel due to restrictions and have paid the remaining balance then

we  can reschedule the date of hire which is suitable to you and subject to availability.

Further Recommendations

We always recommend travel insurance and our understanding is that cancellations due to  Government restrictions and/or cancelled and unavailable flights are potentially covered.  Please check with your Insurance provider.  Hirers must satisfy themselves as to the suitability of travel insurance for their needs.

In summary

We will continue to operate our business with the advised changes.  A Scottish Adventure Campervan Hire have always  take customer care very seriously in everything we do.
